Princeton Theological Seminary is replacing deteriorating soffits and gutters at 501 Farber Road and 201 Loetscher Place on the CRW Campus. The work is being completed by K Restoration and Roofing Corp. in sections around each building.
Work is progressing through the remaining sections of 501 Farber Road. Work adjacent to the student apartments is currently expected to be completed by the end of September, subject to weather and other conditions that can affect exterior construction. Removal of scaffolding from the residential sections is expected to begin by the end of September.
Additional work outside of the windows of the common lounges 501-W14 and 501-W34 is expected to continue into mid-October. The apartments on either side will not be impacted.
During active scaffold work, third-floor balconies will not be accessible in the affected section. Residents on other floors may experience temporarily obstructed balcony views.
Work at 201 Loetscher Place is expected to begin during the fall semester, pending completion of the permitting process. A confirmed start date will be shared with residents once available.
The project will be completed in phases, with scaffolding installed and removed section by section to limit the active construction area as much as reasonably possible.
Because this is a substantial exterior project, work is expected to continue through the fall semester, as weather allows. Weather conditions may affect the schedule, and work that cannot be completed before winter conditions require a pause may resume in the spring.
The safety of residents and visitors is a primary concern throughout this work. Project safety and housekeeping measures include:

Work generally takes place Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Scaffolding and active work areas will be restricted for safety. Residents and campus visitors should follow posted signs, remain outside fenced or restricted areas, and keep children and pets away from scaffolding and construction areas.
Residents who need a quieter place to work or study during construction hours may use available common lounges. Wright Library also offers private rooms that may be used, subject to availability.
This page will be updated as work plans and schedules develop. Residents will also receive direct communications about significant changes affecting their building, access, or the anticipated schedule.
