Princeton Theological Seminary is replacing deteriorating soffits and gutters at 501 Farber Road and 201 Loetscher Place on the CRW Campus. The work is being completed by K Restoration and Roofing Corp. in sections around each building.
Work is progressing through the remaining sections of 501 Farber Road. Weather-related delays have affected the construction schedule, and K Restoration & Roofing Corp. (KRR) now expects to complete the remaining construction work at 501 by Friday, October 9.
As work is completed in each area, KRR will continue removing scaffolding. Because scaffold removal follows completion of the construction itself, some scaffolding may remain in place after October 9 while that process is completed.
Additional work outside of the windows of the common lounges 501-W14 and 501-W34 is expected to continue into mid-October. The apartments on either side will not be impacted.
During active scaffold work, third-floor balconies will not be accessible in the affected section. Residents on other floors may experience temporarily obstructed balcony views.
Preparatory work is underway at 201 Loetscher Place. A small portion of the parking lot facing Farber Road has been fenced to allow K Restoration & Roofing Corp. (KRR) to stage scaffolding materials in advance of installation. Approximately five parking spaces are temporarily unavailable. The staging area is expected to be needed for no more than three weeks and should create minimal noise.
KRR is scheduled to begin erecting scaffolding at 201 on Monday, October 5. Scaffold installation is expected to take approximately one week, with materials moved from the staging area as the scaffolding is erected.
The project will be completed in phases, with scaffolding installed and removed section by section to limit the active construction area as much as reasonably possible.
Construction remains subject to weather conditions. Work that cannot be completed before winter conditions require a pause may resume in the spring.

Work generally takes place Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Scaffolding and active work areas will be restricted for safety. Residents and campus visitors should follow posted signs, remain outside fenced or restricted areas, and keep children and pets away from scaffolding and construction areas.

Residents who need a quieter place to work or study during construction hours may use available common lounges. Wright Library also offers private rooms that may be used, subject to availability.
