When I awake in the morning and drink my first glass of water for the day, I look at the water. Hopefully it is good, pure water, but regardless, I realize this water is a gift. This water is prolonging my life. This water connects me to the Earth. Our relationship is sacred, and I give thanks to the water and to Creator.
