Workshop Facilitator

Wing Yi Wong is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at the Atlantic School of Theology and an adjunct instructor at Emmanuel College, University of Toronto. She teaches courses in preaching, worship, contextual education, interfaith rituals, and intercultural theology. A candidate for ordination in the United Church of Canada, she brings over a decade of intercultural ministry experience across Hong Kong and North America. Dr. Wong holds a PhD in Homiletics from the University of Toronto, a ThM in Preaching from Princeton Theological Seminary, and an MDiv from Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong. Her recent publications include “Expanding Homiletic Pedagogy Beyond Colorblindness” and “Unearthing the Disturbing Ghosts of Postcolonial Lands” in Homiletic.
