Vanessa Renae is an activist, storyteller, and current MTE student at Princeton Theological Seminary. For more than two decades, she has worked at the intersection of health and justice, harnessing the power of story, community, and movement-building to imagine more liberated futures. She is co-founder of GirlTREK, an Aspen Institute Fellow, a former fellow with Harvard Kennedy School’s Social Innovation + Change Initiative, and an Echoing Green Fellow. Vanessa is also the voice behind two viral TED Talks, and her work has been featured by NPR, Essence, and The New York Times, among others.
