Trevor Beauford | Pastor-in-Residence

Trevor Beauford is the founder and spiritual leader of The Place, an emerging spiritual community creating intentional spaces for belonging, worship, and leadership development among young adults and diverse seekers of faith. Through The Place, he cultivates creative worship experiences, communal spiritual practices, and leadership formation that help people encounter God and find authentic community. He also serves as senior organizer for faith communities at the Children’s Defense Fund, where he leads national initiatives that mobilize congregations and faith leaders to advocate for the well-being of children and families. With more than two decades of ministry and leadership experience in churches, higher education, and community organizations, Trevor is committed to nurturing the next generation of faith-rooted leaders whose spiritual lives are connected to justice, compassion, and public witness.
