Senior Pastor of Red Clay Creek
Rev. Dr. Nate Phillips is a pastor, author, and builder of ideas who helps people and institutions see new possibilities and pursue meaningful change. Raised in a small-church cooperative parish in rural Maine, Nate developed a “can-do” ethos that continues to shape his leadership. He has brought that mindset to a range of ministry settings – from historic, well-resourced congregations to new worshiping communities and grassroots, entrepreneurial ventures. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church and is the author of Do Something Else: The Road Ahead for the Mainline Church. In addition to parish ministry, Nate is the Program Director of Damascus Road, a vocational discernment and leadership formation program at Princeton Theological Seminary, and a facilitator in Princeton’s Spiritual Entrepreneurship course.
