Mark Linsz

Co-Founder & Senior Managing Partner
After a fulfilling career holding key corporate leadership roles on three different continents, Mark Linsz launched and leads MyNextSeason as Senior Managing Partner. A first-to-market company, he co-founded MyNextSeason with the objective of helping companies and individuals navigate important transitions at all points along the career continuum—and ensure they happen well.
Originally created with a focus on executive transitions, MyNextSeason quickly grew to include early career and executive advising. Offering world-class advisors and support professionals, the company has built a strong reputation with Fortune 500 corporations, universities, and government agencies for high-touch, thoughtful, and comprehensive support. Mark and co-founder Leslie Braksick recently co-authored the book Revealing Your Next Season, reflecting on ten years of lessons learned from hundreds of clients.
Prior to starting MyNextSeason, Mark spent nearly three decades at Bank of America, most notably steering the company safely through the Financial Crisis. As Corporate Treasurer, he managed the bank’s $2T balance sheet and raised over $50B of capital while ensuring funding and liquidity of all the bank’s entities. Mark also served as Bank of America’s CFO Risk Executive, Capital Markets Risk Executive, and Chief Risk Officer for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Throughout his career, he has worked internationally and led teams in Chicago, New York, Charlotte, London, and Hong Kong.
Mark currently serves on the board of CNL Strategic Capital and a Falfurrias Capital portfolio company board. He has served on the board of directors for BlackRock, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, and Corporate Capital Trust II. He additionally devotes time and energy to multiple not-for-profit organizations as a board member of African Bible Colleges and LifeNet International. He is also a founding board member of Freedom Communities, an organization working to revive the west side of Charlotte, NC.
Mark has been married to his wife, Becky, for more than 30 years and they have three adult children. He and his family reside in Charlotte, NC.
