Kristoff Reese Grosfeld, ThM ’22, is a PhD candidate in Theology, Ethics, and Politics at Princeton Seminary. His main area of interest is in the intersection of dogmatic and moral theology focusing on how doctrines spur human action. His dissertation in particular studies the human response to divine action through the lens of aesthetics in the theologies of Karl Barth and Hans Urs von Balthasar. Reese’s other areas of interest are moral formation, Asian American theology, the doctrine of providence, Christology, and the theology of Augustine of Hippo. He holds a BA in Spanish studies and theology from Fordham University, an MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a ThM in systematic theology from Princeton Seminary.
