Justin Lam is a PhD student in New Testament. While he is a native of Toronto, he recently spent some time in the UK before coming to Princeton Theological Seminary. Believing in the importance of reading the New Testament as Jewish texts within the larger pagan environment, Justin’s research interests include Second Temple Judaism, Rabbinic Judaism, halakhic reasoning, and the Jewish-Christian-pagan interactions in the first centuries of the Common Era. He holds degrees from Wycliffe College, University of Toronto (MDiv) and the University of Oxford (MPhil).
