Bio:
Jackson John Reynolds is a PhD student in biblical studies (New Testament) at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he also received his ThM (‘26) and MDiv (‘24). He earned his BA in religion from Wartburg College (‘20) and received his graduate certificate in Lutheran learning and formation from Wartburg Theological Seminary (‘25).
He is a biblical theologian and scholar who teaches, preaches, and researches for the sake of the church, the academy, and the world. His research interests include the Gospels (especially Luke), the parables of Jesus, theological exegesis and biblical theology, the nexus of religion and popular culture, biblical themes of food and feast, reception history, ecological interpretation, Lutheran hermeneutics, and the theology of preaching.
Jackson has served churches in a variety of roles, most recently as Vicar at Messiah Lutheran Church in Springfield, MO, in 2024-2025. He is also approved for ordination as a minister of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
