Febrianto

Biography

Febrianto is a Ph.D student in Practical Theology with a concentration in Christian Education and Formation. Originally from the Indonesian archipelago, he earned his Bachelor of Theology from Southeast Asia Bible Seminary in Indonesia and Master of Theological Studies from Boston College’s Clough School of Theology and Ministry. He also served as a full-time minister for a few years in his home church in Jakarta. Febrianto’s research interest lies in the intersection of spirituality and social justice, focusing on how Christian mysticism and contemplative practices can foster resistance and healing in a world marked by oppression and suffering. Febrianto also currently serves as the managing editor of Indonesian Journal of Theology.
