Biography

Febrianto is a Ph.D student in Practical Theology with a concentration in Christian Education and Formation. Originally from the Indonesian archipelago, he earned his Bachelor of Theology from Southeast Asia Bible Seminary in Indonesia and Master of Theological Studies from Boston College’s Clough School of Theology and Ministry. He also served as a full-time minister for a few years in his home church in Jakarta. Febrianto’s research interest lies in the intersection of spirituality and social justice, focusing on Christian mysticism and how its theology and practice can foster resistance in the pursuit of social justice and liberation in postcolonial contexts.
