Bio:
Clark Edward Ohanga is a PhD student in the History and Ecumenics Department at Princeton Theological Seminary, specializing in World Christianity. Born and raised in Siaya, western Kenya, he holds a Bachelor of Divinity from St. Paul’s University, Kenya, and a Master of Theological Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary. A Kenyan Anglican priest, his ministry and scholarly vocation are shaped by Luo communal life and experiences within the Anglican Church of Kenya, the Church of England, and the Episcopal Church in the United States. His work across Kenya, the United Kingdom, and the United States spans parish leadership, theological education, pastoral care, and community engagement. Drawing on his Luo heritage, Clark’s research explores how oral traditions, ritual, memory, and performance function as theological methods of ecumenical formation and intergenerational resilience among Christian communities in Kenya and the African diaspora in the United States.
