Brennan Gagnon

MDiv student and candidate for pastoral ministry in the PCUSA

Brennan is a second-year MDiv student and a candidate for pastoral ministry in the PCUSA. Their journey with CCL began during their first year as a listening circle participant, where a transformative group experience unfolded over the course of the year. Through shared silence and deep listening, God showed up, illuminating new meaning in their life. This experience led them to attend a Shalem training to become a listening circle facilitator.

Currently, Brennan enjoys the privilege of piloting a spiritual direction program at their church field education site, where they and a volunteer lead listening circles. They continue to work, fellowship, and learn within the CCL community.

Prior to coming to PTS, Brennan served as a middle school math teacher and youth minister. They have been married to their partner, Maria, for four years. In their spare time, they enjoy skateboarding, surfing, practicing yoga, and learning languages. The spiritual community God has cultivated here has been a continual source of inspiration, and Brennan looks forward to seeing who else God may lead to it—perhaps you.
