Andrew Peecher is a PhD student studying Hebrew Bible. His work explores cross-cultural and material perspectives on the Hebrew Bible, with particular attention to comparison with literature from Mesopotamia and to the effect of material conditions on ancient religious experience. Hailing from central Illinois, Andrew studied Religion and Classics at Hope College (’15), received his M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary (’18), and most recently earned his MTS (Biblical Studies, Gender Studies Minor) from the University of Notre Dame (’22).
