Alejandra Salemi | Public Health

Alejandra is a doctoral candidate in the Population Health Sciences Department at Duke University, focusing on the intersection of public health and religion. She is a graduate of Harvard University, with a Master of Theological Studies and a concentration on religion, ethics, and politics. She also earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public health from the University of Florida. Alejandra is the creator of Healing Theology, a platform devoted to bridging the gaps between the worlds of religion and health. She is a candidate for ordination in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church and is a proud immigrant from Bogotá, Colombia.
