Daniels (MDiv 2004), a pastor, speaker, and emotional intelligence coach, received the Alumni Council Service Award at the alumni awards luncheon during Reunion 2022.
The award honors his transformative leadership as founder of Change Church and his commitment to soul care, emotional health, and coaching. Since earning his MDiv in 2004, Daniels has guided thousands toward personal and spiritual renewal through both ministry and mentorship.
Inspired during a missional theology class at Princeton Seminary, he planted Change Church in 2005—a multi-site congregation rooted in diversity, inclusion, and transformation. In addition to pastoring, he has trained more than 130 coaches and authored Relational Intelligence, a book on managing relationships with wisdom and purpose.
“Seminary gave me the tools to think critically and graciously,” he said. “Those skills prepared me for a church that’s constantly evolving.”
