Kassab (MDiv 1990), president of the World Communion of Reformed Churches and ordained minister in the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award during Reunion 2021.
The award honors her decades of leadership in Christian education and global ecumenical ministry. Since earning her MDiv from Princeton Seminary in 1990, Kassab has been a pioneer for women in the church, receiving the first preaching license granted to a woman by NESSL and later becoming one of its first ordained female ministers.
She has dedicated her career to serving women, children, and the global Reformed community, and was elected president of the WCRC in 2017. Through her work, Kassab continues to embody a ministry of courage, inclusion, and hope.
