What Exodus 3 Teaches Us About Calling with Rev. Dr. Brennan Breed

April 9 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for a conversation with Rev. Dr. Brennan Breed, Associate Professor of Old Testament, where we will discuss a passage from Exodus 3:1-15 and ask what Moses and the Burning Bush have to teach us about calling. Through this discussion, participants will gain insight into how Old Testament scholarship approaches biblical interpretation alongside themes of vocation and discernment.

This session offers prospective students an opportunity to reflect on how we engage with biblical texts and their contexts, and how that engagement reveals diverse interpretations and forms of community. Participants are invited to listen, reflect, and engage as they consider what rigorous, text-centered theological study looks like in our academic community.
