Parking: Parking in downtown Princeton is always at a premium. Our suggestion is to park on our campus in the Wright Library parking lot (25 Library Place, Princeton, NJ 08540) and walk to the University Chapel (about 0.7 mile). If you do wish to park at the University, Lots 10 and 13 on William’s Street are available. Princeton University Map

Marilynne Robinson is the author of Gilead, winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the National Book Critics Circle Award; Home, winner of the Orange Prize and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize; Lila, winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award; and Jack, a New York Times bestseller. Her first novel, Housekeeping, won the PEN/Hemingway Award.
Her nonfiction works include The Givenness of Things, When I Was a Child I Read Books, Absence of Mind, The Death of Adam, and Mother Country. In 2012, she received the National Humanities Medal from President Barack Obama for “her grace and intelligence in writing,” and in 2025 she received the inaugural Lewis H. Lapham Award for Literary Excellence from Harper’s Magazine.
