Panel Discussion led by Princeton Theological Seminary Latina Students.

Event Summary: The Mujerista Symposium seeks to continue that tradition of protest and resistance laid out by Dr. Ada María Isasi-Díaz by creating a space where Latina leaders and theologians will, as Dr. Isasi-Díaz said, “provide insights and understandings regarding norms, values, virtues, and understandings of the divine that are life-giving instead of silencing the cries of the poor.”

Sentipensar, to think/feel is a concept originateed by Colombian fisherman and popularized by scholars and Latin American writes and speaks to a way of being that informs Latin American epistemologies and psychologies.

When applied to practices of care and relationship building, Sentipensar pushes us to look holistically at people by engaging their full range of thoughts/feelings and the environments that produce them. This lecture begins here and asks how we might gain better tools for leading in our contexts.

*Dinner will be served for participants.
