A Concert of Readings and Anthems on the Octave of Easter
This virtual concert will feature the Chapel Choir of Princeton Theological Seminary and scripture readings offered by Princeton Seminary alumni from around the world.
With readings from both the gospel and revelation of St. John, the choir will sing a story of resurrection joy, Spirit hope, and visions of a new heaven and earth. A garden theme is woven through this liturgical concert from Eden, to the empty tomb, culminating at the New Jerusalem with its river and tree of life. Choral works will include Lloyd Larsen’s In the Garden, John Rutter’s Christ the Lord Is Risen Again, Thomas Tallis’ If Ye Love Me, and Raymond Wise’s Lord, Send Your Spirit.
