The Mujerista Symposium, presented by the Office of Multicultural Relations in collaboration with En Conjunto, will explore how narrative theology is used as a viable model for ministry leadership, supports the communal relationships among women of color, and explores theological themes of Christ within the community.
This event is supported by the Association of Black Seminarians, Korean Student Association, the Asian Association of Princeton Theological Seminary, and the Hispanic Theological Initiative.
Dr. Xochitl Alvizo teaches in the area of women and religion and the philosophy of sex, gender, and sexuality at California State University, Northridge. She is committed to bringing an intercultural feminist approach to theology and the study of religion. Her interests include feminist and queer theologies, congregational studies, ecclesiology, and the merging church.
