This interactive Disability and Children’s Ministry Resource Group session explores play as a theological practice through which disabled children of color are welcomed to the center of congregational worship and prayer. Participants will experience practical exercises, theological reflection, and peer learning while gaining tools and resources for ministry.

The session is also designed for participants to learn from one another. Following a presentation, participants will participate in break-out rooms to join facilitated small-group conversations to meet other congregational leaders, parents, caregivers, and ministry practitioners; reflect on what they have learned; and share ideas, experiences, and resources. The small-group conversation is an important part of the 90-minute session, so participants are encouraged to stay for the full session.

Price: $25 or register for all 4 sessions for $79 (a savings of $21)
