Next year we will offer housing in Brown Hall (a residence hall on the main campus), and apartment-style housing in Witherspoon and our CRW apartments (on the Charlotte Rachel Wilson Campus). More information is available on our Admitted Students page.

Residence Hall

Brown Hall

Brown Hall, built in 1864, recently renovated in 2023 and conveniently located on the main campus.  There are 53 single rooms with private bathrooms. All exterior doors are on card access and locked 24/7. Rooms use card access for entry. Housing costs include breakfast and lunch meals in the dining hall weekdays during the Fall and Spring terms.

  • Furnished with an XL twin bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers, bookcase and micro refrigerator.

Brown Housing at PTSEM

Hodge Hall

Hodge Hall, built in 1893, is conveniently located on the main campus. The building has as 57 rooms, consisting of 27 two-room suites (3 of which have private bathrooms), and 30 single rooms.

All exterior doors are on card access and locked 24/7. Rooms use key access for entry. Housing costs include breakfast and lunch meals in the dining hall weekdays during the Fall and Spring terms.   • Bathrooms – In addition to a shared bathroom on each floor with private toilets and showers, there is a single private bathroom on each floor.
  • Air-conditioning/heating

  • Laundry facilities in basement level
  • Kitchen and  lounge with sofas, tables, chairs, and a tv are located in the basement level of the building.

Apartments

Charlotte Rachel Wilson (CRW) Apartments

The Charlotte Rachel Wilson (CRW) apartments were completed in 2012, located approximately three miles from the main campus. There are 200 units within three buildings are available to seminary single and married students.

  • 501 Farber Road – 66 units, 1, 2,3, and 4 bedroom, all unfurnished
  • 201 Loetscher Place –  66 units, 1, 2,3, and 4 bedroom, all unfurnished
  • 101 Loetscher Place –  68 units, 1 and 2 bedroom, all unfurnished

We are proud to announce that the CRW units have received LEED certification for meeting standards in sustainable building construction.

Amenities:

  • LVT vinyl flooring throughout
  • Air conditioning/heating – Geothermal
  • Kitchen:  Refrigerator, Stove, dishwasher, microwave/exhaust, quartz countertops
  • Bathroom:  Tile floor, walls, tub, medicine cabinet, sink, toilet, closet
  • Bathroom 2:  Tile floor, walls, shower, medicine cabinet, sink, toilet
  • One bathroom in one bedroom apartments; two bathrooms in two, three, and four bedroom units
  • Bedrooms: Vary in size, but each has a closet
  • Data/TV: Each unit has a data and phone connection in each bedroom and living room for every unit. There is no wifi, so students need to provide their own router (no carrier subscription needed).
  • Windows: All windows and sliding glass doors have blinds on them
  • Front doors use card access to gain entry
  • Storage:  A storage closet is located outside the front door in the breezeway.  An additional storage unit is provided on the 2nd or 3rd floor storage room.
  • Pets – Dogs allowed only on first floor, cats are allowed on first and second floor.

CRW Housing at PTSEM

Witherspoon Apartments

Witherspoon apartments, built in 1998, this building is located approximately three miles from the main campus, at the CRW Campus. It contains thirty one-bedroom and ten two-bedroom air-conditioned units for single students only.

  • Air conditioning/heating
  • Kitchen:  Refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, exhaust, laminate countertops
  • Bathroom:  Tile floor, walls, Tub, medicine cabinet, sink, toilet,
  • Bedrooms: closet
  • Data/tv: Each unit has a data and phone connection in each bedroom and living room for every unit. There is no wifi, so students need to provide their own router (no carrier subscription needed).
