The Concentration in United Methodist and Wesleyan Studies consists of the following requirements:
A. Four courses on specifically United Methodist material which would ordinarily consist of the following:
B. One additional course (Missional Evangelism) as required for United Methodist ordination.
In case of an unavoidable scheduling conflict, one of the above 5 courses may be covered by other means such as an independent study.
C. One field education placement in a United Methodist congregation.
D. Active participation in the Wesleyan Student Cohort for a minimum of 1 full year.
Successful completion of all requirements will result in a notation being placed be the registrar on the student’s transcript: “Concentration in United Methodist/Wesleyan Studies.”
