Damascus Road is designed for senior leaders seeking a Christian faith-based approach to their next season. The five-month hybrid program is a partnership between Princeton Theological Seminary and MyNextSeason, an organization whose mission is to support corporate leaders navigating career transitions.

Dr. Leslie Braksick—executive, entrepreneur, CEO coach, board member, and author—co-leads MyNextSeason to support companies and individuals during important transitions across the career continuum, ensuring they happen well. Leslie draws on decades of expertise as an advisor to corporate leaders, bringing clarity to the complexity of professional season transitions. She co-founded MyNextSeason, a first-to-market company, to help individuals realize joy, purpose, and their greatest success as they live into their next seasons.
MyNextSeason partners with corporations and universities to positively impact the lives of transitioning professionals and their organizations. Initially focused on executive transitions, the company now includes Early Career and Executive Advising as well as board assessment and refreshment, and CEO mentoring and succession planning. In 2020, Leslie helped launch ProjectYou, a business helping college students and young professionals achieve clarity, confidence, and capabilities in their work lives.
Prior to launching MyNextSeason, Leslie co-founded the management consultancy Continuous Learning Group, Inc. (CLG) which specializes in strategy execution for Fortune 500 companies. Leslie led and grew CLG as its Chairman and President/CEO and Executive Advisor to seniormost clients.
Leslie was recently honored with the OBM Network Lifetime Achievement Award, given to individuals who have fundamentally advanced the understanding or application of behavioral principles in organizational settings. A respected thought leader, her published works are used in graduate programs and corporations around the world. She recently co-authored Revealing Your Next Season, reflecting on ten years of serving clients transitioning from intense careers to fulfilling next seasons. In 2022, she co-authored Preparing CEOs for Success: Insights from CEOs and Directors, revealing important shifts in best preparing and onboarding C-suite executives. Her earliest book, Unlock Behavior, Unleash Profits made WSJ’s Business Best Seller list.
Leslie currently serves on the Board of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is on the Chief Global Officer Council of the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. She is an Emeritus Board Member of the Princeton Theological Seminary and is a founding board member of the Eradicate Hate Global Summit. Leslie holds a PhD in Applied Behavioral Science and a MA in Industrial Psychology from Western Michigan University. After a fulfilling career holding key corporate leadership roles on three different continents, Mark Linsz launched and leads MyNextSeason as Senior Managing Partner. A first-to-market company, he co-founded MyNextSeason with the objective of helping companies and individuals navigate important transitions at all points along the career continuum—and ensure they happen well.
Originally created with a focus on executive transitions, MyNextSeason quickly grew to include early career and executive advising. Offering world-class advisors and support professionals, the company has built a strong reputation with Fortune 500 corporations, universities, and government agencies for high-touch, thoughtful, and comprehensive support. Mark and co-founder Leslie Braksick recently co-authored the book Revealing Your Next Season, reflecting on ten years of lessons learned from hundreds of clients.
Prior to starting MyNextSeason, Mark spent nearly three decades at Bank of America, most notably steering the company safely through the Financial Crisis. As Corporate Treasurer, he managed the bank’s $2T balance sheet and raised over $50B of capital while ensuring funding and liquidity of all the bank’s entities. Mark also served as Bank of America’s CFO Risk Executive, Capital Markets Risk Executive, and Chief Risk Officer for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Throughout his career, he has worked internationally and led teams in Chicago, New York, Charlotte, London, and Hong Kong.
Mark currently serves on the board of CNL Strategic Capital and a Falfurrias Capital portfolio company board. He has served on the board of directors for BlackRock, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, and Corporate Capital Trust II. He additionally devotes time and energy to multiple not-for-profit organizations as a board member of African Bible Colleges and LifeNet International. He is also a founding board member of Freedom Communities, an organization working to revive the west side of Charlotte, NC.
Mark has been married to his wife, Becky, for more than 30 years and they have three adult children. He and his family reside in Charlotte, NC.
Jonathan Lee Walton became president of Princeton Theological Seminary in 2023. Dr. Walton is trained as a social ethicist whose scholarship focuses on the intersection of evangelical Christianity, mass media, and political culture. He is the author of two books: Watch This! The Ethics and Aesthetics of Black Televangelism (NYU Press, 2009) and A Lens of Love: Reading the Bible in Its World for Our World (Westminster John Knox Press, 2018).
Walton has published widely across various academic journals, books, magazines, and newspapers. His insights have been featured in the New York Times, CNN, Time Magazine, and PBS. Walton is a member of the Humanities Advancement Council at Morehouse College in Atlanta.
Walton earned his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Divinity degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary. Prior to his appointment at Princeton Theological Seminary, he served as dean of Wake Forest University’s School of Divinity where he occupied the Presidential Chair in Religion & Society, and as the Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church at Harvard University.

Damascus Road is a five-month, guided discernment experience for leaders seeking a Christian faith-based approach to navigating transition and gaining clarity on what’s next. It combines theological reflection, practical tools, and personalized coaching to help you live courageously into your next season.
Damascus Road is a five-month hybrid program. You’ll attend two multi-day, on-campus retreats at Princeton Theological Seminary and participate in weekly online sessions. Coaching calls and assignments are scheduled flexibly to fit your calendar.
Yes. The program is designed for active leaders and accommodates ongoing professional commitments, provided you can attend the retreats and dedicate time each week for online formation and coaching.
No. While the program is rooted in Christian faith and Scripture, participants come from a range of professional backgrounds — corporate, nonprofit, entrepreneurial, and ministry.
Two immersive retreats take place on the Princeton Theological Seminary campus in Princeton, NJ.
Between retreats, you’ll participate in weekly virtual learning sessions, meet with your coach, and work on your vocational action plan. Expect approximately 3–4 hours per week of engagement.
We seek leaders who are committed to discernment, open to self-reflection, and ready to explore their next season with both courage and faith. Applications are reviewed to ensure alignment with program goals and cohort dynamics.
You’ll leave with a personalized transition plan, expanded network, and continued access to resources that support your next season. Many participants stay connected with their cohort and coaches beyond the formal program.
