In an increasingly complex and polarized world, meaningful conversation across disciplines, institutions, and communities is more important than ever. This new conversation series brings together a member of the seminary faculty and a member of the university faculty to engage timely questions at the intersection of faith, public life, scholarship, and civic imagination.
Each gathering will explore a compelling theme or current event through the lens of multiple academic perspectives, modeling thoughtful dialogue, intellectual curiosity, and respectful engagement across differences. These conversations are designed to be accessible and participatory, inviting students, scholars, and members of the wider community into shared reflection.
To foster a welcoming and creative atmosphere, each event will feature collaboration with a local community partner who will contribute food, drink, artistic expression, or another experiential element that enriches the conversation and encourages informal connection.
Together, these gatherings aim to cultivate a vibrant public square — one where faith, ideas, culture, and community meet in open exchange.
All events are being held in partnership with Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ.
