Joe R. Engle Organ Concert: Dwelling in the Psalms September 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm The Seminary Chapel, Princeton Theological Seminary 64 Mercer St., Princeton, NJ, United States The Joe R. Engle Organ Concert will feature a wide range of repertoire drawn from the book of Psalms including a commissioned choral anthem based on Psalm 46 and composed by Eurydice Osterman entitled "Be Still and Know That I Am God." Evelyn Simpson-Curenton will improvise an organ work based on Psalm 116, "I Love the Lord." Organists Eric Wall and Ahreum Han Congdon will present organ works exploring the depth and breadth of the Psalter. And guest conductor, Brandon Boyd, will lead the Seminary Chapel Choir and audience in singing. Free

Evangelical, Catholic, and Reformed: A Celebration of George Hunsinger September 28 @ 8:00 am - September 29 @ 6:30 pm Princeton Seminary invites our community to celebrate the work of our Hazel Thompson McCord Professor of Systematic Theology, George Hunsinger. George Hunsinger is the McCord Professor of Systematic Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. He earned his degrees at Stanford, Harvard, and Yale. A leading expert on Karl Barth, he was the 2010 recipient of the international Karl Barth Prize. He serves as an ordained Presbyterian minister, the founder of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture (2006), and a delegate to the official Reformed/Roman Catholic International Dialogue (2011–2017). He is interested in “generous orthodoxy” as a way of overcoming the historic liberal/conservative impasse in modern Protestant theology.
