Applying Digital Tools for Effective Pedagogy in a Residential Context

September 10, 2020

Overview

Under the leadership of Drs. Eric Barreto and Lindsey Trozzo, this project, originally titled “Assessing the Use of Digital Tools for Real-Life Residential Learning,” will develop effective practices to increase digital competence for both faculty and students and enhance competencies in teaching and learning in our residential community.

Recognizing that many members of Princeton Theological Seminary faculty were anxious about their ability to use digital technologies effectively, this project was designed to provide training and also to train PhD students for the job market in a climate that assumes both proficiency and digital technological experience.

… and then came the pandemic, campus closure, and the absolute necessity to teach and study virtually. Conditions and competencies have greatly changed and the Wabash Center has graciously extended time to revise the project.
