The 2018 Herencia Lectures - Princeton Theological Seminary

Held on October 5, 2018, this year's Herencia Lectures revolved around the theme of the keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Juan D. Gonzalez, Richard D. Heffner Professor of Communications and Public Policy and Professor of Professional Practice in Journalism and Media Studies at Rutgers University: “Reaping What We Sow: Roots of Central American Migration.”

Other lecturers included Dr. Patricia Fernandez-Kelly, Professor of Sociology, Research Associate at the Office of Population Research, and director of the Center for Migration and Development at Princeton University; Rev. Francisco J. Peláez-Díaz, a PhD Candidate in Religion & Society at Princeton Theological Seminary; Rev. Jeniffer Rodríguez, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Ossining, NY; Dr. Rady Roldán-Figueroa, Associate Professor of the History of Christianity at the Boston University School of Theology; and Dr. Mark Lewis Taylor, Princeton Theological Seminary’s Maxwell M. Upson Professor of Theology and Culture.
