Yet another senseless act of violence took place yesterday when a gunman murdered innocent children and adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Yet another, and another. The tragedy of this repeated horror defies comprehension.
We hold vigil with parents who are waiting to learn if their children have been identified and with families who mourn the death of those who were supposed to have so much life waiting ahead of them.
May we as a society turn our prayers and our outrage into action that finally ends this crazed, ceaseless cycle of violence.
