This winter, McCarter Theatre is presenting Here There are Blueberries, a gripping theatrical production that brings to life the discovery of a mysterious album of Nazi-era photographs. This thought-provoking play from the Tony and Emmy nominee Moisés Kaufman and the Tectonic Theater Project (The Laramie Project) examines the unsettling realities behind these images and their implications for our understanding of history and morality.
Following select performances, McCarter will host post-show discussions as part of its programming. These discussions, held in partnership with Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE), will feature ethicists and scholars reflecting on the central question: How do we deal with the sins of our fathers? Following the February 8th matinee at 2 pm, Princeton Theological Seminary President Jonathan Lee Walton will join the talkback, moderated by Jill S. Dolan, Annan Professor of English at Princeton University.
Attend the performance and stay for this engaging, deeply reflective conversation on history, ethics, and the complexities of human nature. Get tickets at McCarter.
