Launched in 2018, the Log College Project is an initiative designed to help churches create new forms of youth ministry. This summer’s Design Lab was the flagship event for this project – a five-day design intensive program where intergenerational teams discerned, refined, and pitched projects that will reorient and integrate young people into their congregations.
Twelve church teams from all over the U.S. gathered together on the Seminary campus as a “Community of Practice,” collaborating across denominational, socio-economic, generational, socio-cultural, and geographic lines in order to create a culture of experimentation in their youth ministry practices, where God’s call could be discerned afresh.
The Log College Project is hosted by The Institute for Youth Ministry (IYM) at Princeton Theological Seminary. The IYM gathers Christian leaders to reflect theologically on the practice of youth ministry, and participate in God’s transformative work in the world.
