The Rev. Dr. Robert Saler is the Executive Director of the Center for Pastoral Excellence at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, where he serves as Associate Dean and Director of the Lutheran House of Studies. An ordained ELCA pastor, Rob speaks and teaches broadly in both academic and church-related communities. He is the author of numerous books, including Between Magisterium and Marketplace, Planning Sabbaticals: A Guide for Congregations and Their Pastors, Arvo Part: Sounding the Sacred, and his latest, All These Things Into Position: What Theology Can Learn from Radiohead. He holds degrees from Valparaiso University, University of Chicago, and Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and has published widely on a variety of topics.
