Recap: Asian American Theology and Ministry Colloquium - Princeton Theological Seminary

At this year’s first gathering of the Asian American Theology and Ministry Colloquium, the Rev. Dr. Mia Chang told the story of NextGen Church in West Windsor, New Jersey, which calls itself “a mosaic community of faith that seeks to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors, near and far.” Chang shared how her upbringing in a Korean American faith community led her to help plant this multiethnic church, which also hosts after-school programs, dinner gatherings, and other community events. “If God were to have shown me everything that was going to happen, I would have run away,” she said. “But I am grateful that God equipped me every step of the way with amazing people and the resources to carry it out.”

The colloquium was hosted by the Center for Asian American Christianity and co-sponsored by the Asian Association of Princeton Theological Seminary and the Korean Student Association.
