The Institute for Youth Ministry, through the Office of Continuing Education at Princeton Theological Seminary, offers non-degree programs, events, and resources for people engaged in ministry with young people. You can find more information about how to get involved with our programs here. Some of our offerings require applications, but many of our events are simply open to the public with advance registration. We are also thrilled to connect you directly with the Office of Admissions, who can help you discern if a graduate degree program at Princeton Seminary is right for you.

We will need your full name (including any previous names you had during your participation), current email address, name of the program and year of your participation or completion, and the name and contact information of the person or program requesting the letter (if different from your own). Please also include any other pertinent information that would be helpful in crafting the letter. You can expect a response within two weeks, unless otherwise notified.

Over the years, the IYM has had many grant opportunities for youth ministry practitioners, generously supported by The Lilly Endowment, Inc. Our current project called Foundations is awarding youth ministers with $2500 grants to launch pop-up ministries in their congregations In 2020, 12 churches received $15,000 grants through the IYM as part of the pilot program of Log College Project. Please sign up for the IYM Newsletter for the latest news and announcements about any future grant-making and programmatic initiatives.

The IYM is occasionally able to offer discounts and scholarships on a case-by-case basis for our non-degree programs and events.  Please contact the administrative assistant for Institute for Youth Ministry, who will help you with this request.
