placeholder

The Barth Literature Search Project is an online, searchable bibliography of literature by and about the Swiss-German theologian Karl Barth (1886–1968). The data from Bibliographie Karl Barth, published by Hans Markus Wildi and Jakob Matthias Osthof, are included in the database. This project is the initiative of the Protestant Theological University (the Netherlands) and the Center for Barth Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. There are several global project partners and corresponding partners to ensure literature in as many languages as possible can be represented in the database.

This online bibliography was designed to support and promote the study of Barth’s theology. It contains information about both primary and secondary literature in several languages and is updated continually with the most recent publications.
