Graduate Student Colloquium - Princeton Theological Seminary
placeholder

The Barth Graduate Student Colloquium is a dynamic three-day event fostering scholarly engagement, community building, and fresh perspectives in Barth studies. Graduate students present and discuss pre-assigned sections of Barth’s work in a student-led seminar format, complemented by evening lectures and discussions with senior scholars.

Focused on Barth’s expansive vision of grace, the colloquium invites critical engagement with his theology—acknowledging his contributions, addressing shortcomings, and expanding the conversation. Committed to inclusivity, we encourage submissions from women, people of color, international students, and other underrepresented voices to build a vibrant community of theologians who will shape the future of theology today.
