Black Theology and Leadership Institute

Save the Date for BTLI 2027

The Black Theology and Leadership Institute is a weeklong intensive continuing education experience for clergy and lay leaders seeking to deepen their theological reflection, preaching, and leadership. Hosted on the Princeton Theological Seminary campus, BTLI gathers fellows, faculty, and staff for rigorous academic engagement, worship, fellowship, mentorship, and cohort-based conversation.

Each year, BTLI invites participants to learn from leading scholars of theology and religion while exploring the intersections of doctrine, social justice, leadership, and faithful public witness. The institute is open to clergy and lay leaders, including those who may not have formal theological training.

2027 dates will be announced soon. Applications will open in January 2027.
