EvansAlyssa     Alyssa Evans, Ph.D. candidate in Church History is a 2013 recipient of a Doctoral Fellowship from the Louisville Institute.  As a recipient she will be part of a two-year non-residential cohort of Ph.D./Th.D. students considering theological education as their vocation.
 AlcantaraJared2     Jared Alcántara, Ph.D. candidate in Homiletics, is a 2013 recipient of a Dissertation Fellowship from the Louisville Institute.  His work studies the preaching of Gardner C. Taylor, pastor emeritus of Concord Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY.
  HowardMelanie2     Melanie Howard, Ph.D. candidate in New Testament, is a 2013 recipient of the Mary Jo Small Fellowship, awarded by The Society for Values in Higher Education (SVHE).  As a fellow, she receives membership in the society and covered expenses for the society's conference this summer.




 Cambria Kaltwasser, Ph.D. candidate in Systematic Theology, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year.  During that time she will conduct research at the University of Tü concerning Karl Barth's account of finite human freedom as responsibility within covenant with God and others.
