Princeton,
NJ, November 18, 2011–Looking for a
Christmas gift for someone special? How about a gift that is both chic and
socially conscious? Seminarians for Peace and Justice, a student-led
organization at Princeton Theological Seminary, will have an alternative fair
trade Christmas market on Wednesday, December 7, Thursday, December 8, and
Friday, December 9. Hours for the market are Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00
p.m., and Thursday and Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. It will be held in
the lobby of the Mackay Campus Center on the Seminary’s campus.
The market
will offer creative alternative gift options for the holiday season. Products
include fair trade jewelry, scarves, soaps, handbags, and much more. Proceeds
from the market will go directly back to the original vendors and artisans from Kenya, Rwanda, and the Philippines.

Princeton
Theological Seminary was founded in 1812, the first seminary established by the
General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church. It is the largest Presbyterian
