On January 14 more than one hundred alumni/ae and friends gathered for a luncheon at The Athenaeum at California Institute of Technology in Pasadena to hear President Torrance talk about the Seminary and to visit with classmates. Mike Roffina (Class of 1978) and Don Maddox (Class of 1969) cohosted the event, and alums came from up to three hours away to attend. Bruce Chapman, Class of 1978, came all the way from Florida! Iain Torrance with Gloria Kinsler (Class of 1960). When Gloria was a PTS student, the Torrance family lived at the Seminary while Dr. T.F. Torrance was a visiting scholar. Gloria often provided childcare for ten-year-old Iain. Stephanie Miller-McLane (Class of 1994) and Andrew Holmes (Class of 2004).

Mike Roffina (Class of 1978), who hosted the gathering at the Athenaeum. Bill Antablin (Class of 1946) Mr. and Mrs. James Breckinridge come from a long line of Presbyterian ministers. They recently gave the Seminary a portrait of Samuel Miller and his wife that had been in their family for years and was commissioned in the mid-1800s.
     
  President Torrance presented a duplicate Seminary diploma to alumnus Mike Mudgett (Class of 2006), associate pastor of Malibu Presbyterian Church. Mudgett’s diploma burned in the Malibu church fire during the California wildfires last fall. Bruce Chapman (Class of 1978) came all the way from Florida to attend the luncheon!
