The Case for Support

Today, as for nearly two centuries, Princeton Seminary is committed to providing the finest quality theological education available to men and women called to serve Jesus Christ and the church worldwide. As expressed in our mission statement, our goal is to send out servant-leaders whose lives are "marked by faith, integrity, scholarship, competence, compassion, and joy."

We are grateful for the past and continuing generosity of alumni/ae and friends. Through them, God is entrusting the Seminary with the resources to fulfill its mission. As a result of this partnership with donors, Princeton Seminary is able to:

  • make theological education available to all qualified students, while relieving them of extensive debt, including the nine out of ten students who require scholarship aid based on need;
  • retain and support a 50-person faculty of the highest caliber and spiritual integrity;
  • house one of the world’s largest, most comprehensive libraries;
  • create vital new programs like the Institute for Youth Ministry.

To sustain these programs, to help meet student financial need, and to keep tuition and educational loan debt from increasing unduly, the Seminary depends on gifts from alumni/ae and friends. Make a difference by investing in the lives of future leaders of the church – Princeton Theological Seminary students.
