Embracing The Latino Paradigm seeks to respond to the demographic boom of Hispanics/Latinos/as in the United States. The 3 days of workshops and plenaries will provide theological reflection and ministry models and templates of Hispanic ministries in the United States.  The workshop is focused on helping adjudicatory bodies to better understand and serve the broad diversity of Hispanic/Latino/a ministry in the United States

Plenary Speaker: Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi, Ph.D. is Professor of World Christianity at Columbia Theological Seminary. He holds a Ph. D from Princeton Theological Seminary in Mission, Ecumenics, and History of Religions. He has served as Chair of the Hispanic Summer Program Governing Board, and Contributing Editor of The Journal of Hispanic Latino Theology.  Dr. Cardozi is also an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and an interdisciplinary scholar in the fields of world Christianity and missions. He has published numerous articles and several books including The Essential Guide to Mission and Historia general de las Misiones (Colección Historia), with Justo L. González.
